Ted is the President and founder of Redwood Investment Advisors, Ltd. and serves on the firm’s Financial Planning and Investment Policy Committees.

His primary duties at Redwood include working closely with the firm’s individual clientele as well as pension plan investment committees. He brings over two decades of investment and tax experience to the firm helping with the selections of firm’s investments and preparation of its financial plans.

Prior to founding Redwood in 1998, Ted co-founded The Windsor Group, an Indianapolis based financial planning and investment firm, which began operations in 1986. During his time with Windsor, Ted was instrumental in the development of all aspects of investment selection and reporting and financial plan preparation. Ted’s experience includes three years (1982-1985) with Olive, LLP, a regional CPA firm located in Indianapolis, where he performed audits of all sizes and prepared personal and corporate tax returns.

As a Certified Public Accountant (1985) and Certified Financial Planner (1986), Ted is a member of the Indiana CPA Society, the American Institute of CPA’s (AICPA), and the Financial Planning Association (FPA). Ted obtained the Personal Financial Specialist Designation (PFS) in 1989 as one of the first 300 individuals in the country to do so.

Ted graduated from Ball State University in 1982 with degrees in Finance and Accounting. Ted has been involved in the Big Brothers Program since 1993.

Judy is co-founder and fifty percent owner of Redwood Investment Advisors, Ltd. She serves as chairperson of the Investment Policy and the Financial Planning Committees.

A graduate of Butler University, Judy began her career with Olive, LLP, a regional CPA firm located in Indianapolis, where she specialized in audits of construction, insurance and service oriented businesses.

In 1988 Judy joined Baker and Daniel’s where, as controller, she headed day-to-day financial activities. In 1992 Judy formed a local accounting firm concentrating on small corporations and high net worth individual clients.

As a certified public accountant (CPA), Judy is a member of the Indiana CPA Society.

Judy served on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer and Secretary of the Junior League of Indianapolis. She has been involved in church activities as a Sunday school teacher and a member of the Finance Committee.

 


D o u g M. B e h r m a n n

Doug Behrmann has been working with Redwood Investment Advisors since January 1999. He brings with him over a decade of experience and a broad perspective of the pension and investment field. Doug specializes in pension enrollment meetings for groups of all sizes.

Doug began his career with Indiana National Bank, where he worked in Institutional Trust Sales and Sales Management. After working in the insurance industry as a Pension Consultant for two years, he joined KeyBank in Indianapolis as a Sales Manager for Pension and Institutional Products. In 1998, Doug became the Group Vice President for Pension and Institutional Investment Sales with Sun Trust Bank in Nashville, Tennessee.

Doug is a member of the Association of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (CEBS). He is also a Registered Investment Advisor Representative.

Doug is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Business (1978) and obtained an I.U. graduate degree in 1980. He has been actively involved in his community, serving in a variety of leadership roles on various boards.


R a c h e l J o n e s

Rachel Jones joined Redwood Investment Advisors, Ltd. in 2006. She is responsible for investment research and serves on the Redwood Investment Policy Committee.

Rachel brings with her nearly a decade of experience in employee benefits, retirement and financial planning. Most recently, she spent the last four years as Practice Manager for Hoover Financial Advisors. At Hoover Financial Advisors, Rachel gained invaluable financial planning and investment experience.

Rachel graduated with distinction from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance and Economics. Rachel is currently a candidate for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.

Rachel is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Greater Indiana and a provisional member of the Junior League of Indianapolis. Rachel and her husband enjoy spending time with their daughter, watching the Colts, and traveling.


A m y  K n i g h t

Amy Knight joined Redwood Investment Advisors,
Ltd. in 2003. She is an administrative assistant in
preparation of client investment reports, along with
the process of client paperwork. She also assists in the preparation of financial plans.


Amy began her career as a Personal Training Coordinator at the Indianapolis Athletic Club. Her primary responsibilities were to train IAC members and supervise other personal trainers, in addition to running fitness programs throughout the club facility.

Amy received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Physical Education from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis. She is an active alumnus pursuing continuing education programs. Amy is currently a candidate for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.

Amy enjoys spending time with her family and friends and welcomes a physical challenge.

Amy Haase joined Redwood Investment Advisors, Ltd. in 2005. She is responsible for the back office administration..

Amy began her career as a benefit advocate for the Hoosier Healthwise Health Insurance Program providing health care access education to applicants, potential members, and members. After working there for 2 years she joined AIM Healthcare Services, Inc. where she was a regional account manager. She conducted credit balance audits in hospitals to recover any overpayments.

Amy attended Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Indiana University.

Amy enjoys attending Colts and Pacers games as well as spending time with her family and friends. Amy also serves as the treasurer for the Southeastway Park Advisory Council.

Duane Wimer joined Redwood Investment Advisors, Ltd. in 2002 and serves on the Redwood Investment Policy Committee.

He began his business career with an Indianapolis-based Certified Public Accounting Firm, Whipple & Company, known today as Somerset Financial Services. During a nine-year career with Whipple & Company, Duane progressed from staff accountant to principal. He developed significant expertise in finding solutions to the unlimited, ever-changing array of challenges facing his closely held business clients and their owners.

In October 1994, Duane was drawn to a new position created by his Fraternity, Delta Tau Delta. The position of Director of Business Affairs was a unique match with his desire for a new challenge and the Fraternity’s needs regarding this new position.
In August 1996, Duane became the Fraternity’s Chief Executive Officer. He also served on the fraternity’s investment committee.

Duane’s positions with the Fraternity allowed him to leverage skills learned at Whipple and Company, and nurture creative skills he was seeking to utilize in a new position.

Duane graduated from Ball State University in 1984. He and his wife Maria currently enjoy raising their daughters Erica and Nicole, and son Michael.


C h e r y l  W o o l e y

Cheryl Wooley joined Redwood Investment Advisors, Ltd. in 2003. She is responsible for the preparation of client financial plans, cash flow projections, various accounting reports, and income tax returns.

Cheryl is a retired executive of Ameritech. Her career at
Ameritech encompassed a variety of positions in the Treasury, Accounting, Corporate Planning, and Finance and Regulatory Departments including Vice President – Comptroller of
Ameritech Indiana and Vice President of Regulatory Affairs.

Cheryl received a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from Purdue University and an MBA from Butler University. Cheryl enjoys travel, reading, spending time with her three daughters, and serving on several volunteer committees at Center Grove High School.
